Letter to my Future Self

Image
Hi Kate,     As I sit down and write this letter, I am very curious about the person you have become 20 years from now. I can only imagine how much growth, experiences, and challenges you have faced along the way to become the woman you are today. As of right now you are in the first few weeks of your senior year of college at the University of Tampa. Mom, Dad, Joe and Anna are all doing great. Joe just started his freshman year of high school and is loving it so far. Anna got a perfect score on her LSAT and is applying to law schools! A lot of excitement is happening. You currently work for Innovo Living management company still, and it’s been amazing. Julia and Kaylee are still your roommates as well and you all are having such a good time. You are loving your major more and more and continuing to look into graphic design, as it is an interest for you currently!  I hope so many things for you in this future state, but above all else I hope you are happy and healthy. I wish that you

The internet, as we all know, is universally accessed technology that we use everyday. But did you know that the internet was not created by a single individual but rather developed over time by various researchers and organizations. Some key contributors include Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn, who developed the TCP/IP protocol, a fundamental component of the Internet. Its development began in the late 1960s with the ARPANET project, which was funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. It was orginally created to process communication and data transfer between research institutions and government agencies.       In its early days, the Internet was primarily used for research, military purposes, and academic communication. Today, the Internet is widely used for communication, information sharing, e-commerce, entertainment, social networking, and so much more!      As it follows,  The World Wide Web (WWW) is a system of interconnected documents and resources linked through hyperlinks and UR

Hi everyone!! My name is Kate Sixsmith and I am a senior at the University of Tampa. I am an Advertising/Public Relations major with a minor in applied communications. I am originally from Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania which is about an hour east of Philadelphia. I came to Tampa mostly for the beautiful weather, but also fell in love with campus and the surrounding areas. I am grateful to call this place home for the last three years. I am the middle child in my family, with an older sister who is twenty-four, and a little brother who is fourteen. I was committed to the University of Tampa for women's soccer, but sadly tore both my ACLs, so I decided to give that part up of my life. Since I spent so much time throughout the years playing soccer, when I stopped, I had to find new hobbies. I began to explore more creative parts of myself like painting and photography. I spent so much time doing these things I began selling some of my work. I found that I still love working out and bei
